K-Wings Defenseman Kyle Bushee Named To ECHL All Star Team

The ECHL season is almost half way over and the league recently announced the rosters for the all star game.  This year the game will feature a player from Kalamazoo.

According to the ECHL,  Kalamazoo Wings Defenseman Kyle Bushee has been voted in and will play as a member of the Central Division All Stars.

This will be the first season that the league will feature four teams from each division in the game. Teams from the North,South, Central and Mountain divisions will play in a 3 on 3 tournament similar to what the NHL and AHL have done recently.   There will also be a skills competition that will take place before the championship game.

The ECHL All Star game is hosted this year by the Indy Fuel and will take place on Monday, January 15th in Indianapolis.   The game is set to air at 1 p.m. on the NHL Network.
