The Kalamazoo Wings announced Monday that single-game tickets are now on sale to the general public. The team also announced the 2015-16 promotional schedule, which features a mix of new promotions and familiar classics, too.

The K-Wings will kick off the season against the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. The K-Wings have teamed up with Bell’s Brewery for a home opener pregame party that will feature the WMU drumline and dance team, live bands and DJs around the stadium, and a Bell’s cowbell giveaway. It will also serve as the official unveiling of the $1.6 million renovation project at Wings Event Center.
The following weekend (October 23), the K-Wings will host the 5th annual Susan G. Komen game. The event is highlighted by an array of donated prizes up for silent auction. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and will be used for breast cancer education, research, advocacy, health services and social support programs.
New promotions at Wings Event Center this season include Medieval night (November 13), Country night (December 11, 12), Winterfest (February 19, 20), Ninja Turtles night (March 19), Lego night (March 25) and Geocaching night (March 26). Also featured for the first time at Wings Event Center, college discounts that include $10 tickets for anyone with a valid college ID.
The K-Wings return with their premium colored ice games on Friday, October 30 (12th annual Halloween Orange Ice Night presented by Meijer), Sunday, February 14 (Princess Pink Ice Night presented by Charter), and Thursday, March 17 (35th annual World Famous Green Ice Game).

Among other familiar promotions, Kalamazoo will include two Education Day games, where the K-Wings will welcome local schools for a special 10:30 a.m. start time on Wednesday, November 4 and Thursday, December 17.
February 1-6 is billed as the 2016 CCM/ECHL Hockey Heritage Week presented by PNC Bank and Bronson Sports Medicine. The event turns Kalamazoo into the center of the hockey universe, as the K-Wings were selected to host the league’s Board of Governors meeting, the 9th annual ECHL Hall of Fame Luncheon, a tour of the Stanley Cup and Kelly Cup, exhibits from the Hockey Hall of Fame, and much more. The weekend will culminate with two games against the Toledo Walleye on February 5 and 6, with the first game featuring a throwback theme and the second game featuring a futuristic theme.
