For most people, the name Steve Martin is a wild and crazy guy who's brand of humor involves arrow-through-the-head gags, but I will have you know he is QUITE the accomplished banjo player and playwright. With 1996's "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" and 2002's "Underpants" under his belt, tonight is the Broadway debut of his latest show, "Bright Star," co-written by Edie Brickell.

But that's Broadway... and that's all the way over there somewhere.  What does that have to do with us, here in Kalamazoo?  One of our own, Hanna Elless, is the star, and after four weeks of previews, she says "We're so ready to open."

Click here to read all about Hannah Elless' dream coming true, starring in a brand new Broadway musical written by comic and blue-grass master, Steve Martin.
