Kalamazoo Area ALDIs Going On A Hiring Spree

The last thing we heard from ALDI was they were jumping into the online purchase and pick up/delivery arena.  This after the Gull Road location began an expansion project which continues to this day.  These factors and the overwhelming shortage of prospective employees has led to ALDI looking to hire many more people to fill new and existing positions in the Kalamazoo area and elsewhere.

According to our friends at NBC 25 News, all Michigan locations are holding a hiring event today till 6pm.  No word yet as to whether the store will limit the recruitment to just today.  But if recent history has anything to do with it, I would guess that this isn't the only opportunity people will have to join the company.  At least in our area, there are more jobs available at more different companies than there are candidates to fill them.  And in case you were wondering, the starting wage is $12.00 with increases after 6 months.
