Kalamazoo Beer Week Starts Saturday

I know, I know.  Every week is beer week in Kalamazoo.

This year, however, things are getting a bit more serious.

Ya see, Kalamazoo — and all of southwest Michigan, for that matter — is gaining quite the reputation in the "beer" world. That's right! The industry is taking notice, and it's up to us to do our part and...well...drink.

So, the Fifth Annual Kalamazoo Beer Week officially starts Saturday, Jan. 10, and we, once again, have the opportunity to showcase one of the great things about this area...AND DRINK BEER WHILE WE DO IT!

This year's Kalamazoo Beer Week offers more than 200 events from 48 breweries! This weeklong series of events support the craft beer experience through special tastings, dinners, and unique, interactive events. Click to see Kalamazoo Beer Week's events.

The event I'm most excited about is at Tibbs Brewing Company on Monday, where you can partake in the combination of Tibbs beer paired with Q-IT-UP barbecue! There are only a limited amount of seats, so get your tickets now — it'll be worth it.
