Kalamazoo Gets A Show On DIY Network

I have to admit I'm a DIY and HGTV watcher.  Well...my wife is and I just want to spend as much time with her as I can no matter what I have to sit through.  Actually, I'm kidding about that.  I actually like several shows on both networks and every time there's a new show we always say that there should be one in Kalamazoo/Portage.  Now there is.

According to our friends at MLive, Jeremy Cole from Kalamazoo and a WMU grad got a pilot called 'Gritty to Pretty' and will air this Saturday night at 8pm on the DIY network.  And, yes, the houses he renovates are in Kalamazoo and Portage!  How cool is that?  Even cooler is Cole's story and his commitment to our communities.  Apparently, his exploits have been filmed for years and can be found on YouTube.  It might be worth checking those out but, more importantly, we need to watch this show because it's only a pilot which means it might not get picked up as a regular show.  Check out the whole story HERE.
