Kalamazoo Will Approach Record High Temperatures Saturday

Despite the beginning of June 2016 being on the cool side, an intense heat wave is set to hit West Michigan Friday and Saturday (June 10-11) that will approach long-standing records.

Kalamazoo Heat

The high temperature forecast for Saturday in Kalamazoo is 90 according to WeatherUnderground. The record high temperature for June 11 at Kalamazoo-Battle Creek International Airport (AZO) is 94 set back in 1956.

Grand Rapids Heat

In Grand Rapids similar heat is forecast with a projected high of 91 while the record for the day at Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) was, like Kalamazoo, set in 1956 when the high temperature reached 93.
