Ever since the acoustic guitar had a baby with electricity, there hasn't really been a lot of advancement in the gear to accompany it. Sure amps have gotten smaller, lighter, easier to transport. Various pedals have lent depth, character, and a new "voice" to the familiar strings. And when one fret-lined neck wouldn't do, someone doubled the fun.

So what now?  Where do we go from here?  Why not strip it all back down and go acoustic?

Introducing the Tonewood Amp, which, according to their website, allows you to play unplugged with effects coming from the body of the guitar, itself.  Man... there really is an app for everything these days, isn't there?

At $229 a pop, treat yo'self, or treat the musician in your life.
