It was a collaboration between two Motor City greats as Kid Rock joined Bob Seger onstage in Nashville during Seger's Friday night concert.

Bob Seger surprised the crowd when he brought Kid Rock on the stage near the end of the show.

Kid Rock paid homage to the Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, calling him "one of the best singer-songwriters in American history."

“What an honor to be here tonight, with not only my friend, but my absolute musical hero here,” said Kid Rock in the intro. “My Detroit buddy, over 50 years, one of the best singer-songwriters in American history. Maybe his last time in Nashville. I sure hope not, ladies and gentleman, one more time… Bob Seger.”

The two performed a killer version of Seger's 'Rock and Roll Never Forgets.' Thanks to YouTube user 4 Skip for posting the awesome video!
