Knife Fight Breaks Out In Michigan Walmart Layaway Line

This man took a knife into the Sterling Height Walmart, but it wasn't to slash prices.

The Walmart layaway room is usually the source of heartfelt stories around this time of year. In the past two weeks we've heard about layaway bills being paid off by Tyler Perry and Kid Rock.

That was not the case in a Sterling Heights Walmart this week.

WDIV reported about the story, but the surveillance footage above is really all you need to see.

The fact is that even though this is supposed to be the happiest time of the year, it's also a time when people are running very low on patience.

Shopping for things you don't want, with money that most of us don't have, can be very frustrating.

I'm not saying that I condone grabbing a knife whenever things start to get you triggered, but I can identify with the thought process. The best thing you can do is take a minute to breathe, and remember that most of us are in the same stressful holiday boat right now . . . plus nothing ruins Christmas more than being in jail.
