Kwings To Host “We Are Kalamazoo” Game This Weekend

According to a press release, the "We Are Kalamazoo" game will be the Kwings next home game, which is this Saturday Night, March 5th at Wings Event Center.

The game will be against the Utah Grizzlies and will see $2 from each ticket sold go towards the Help now! fund.  Proceeds also from their St. Patrick's Day Jersey auction will go to the fund.

The Help now! fund is a collaborative fund set up by the Battle Creek Community Foundation, Kalamazoo Community Foundation, and the United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region.

The game will also be the second Kids Paint the ice game of the season.  The theme will be "We Are Kalamazoo".    The Wings will also honor the eight victims of the February 20th Kalamazoo shootings in a pregame ceremony.  That ceremony will also feature first responders from local law enforcement and officials.
