It's not enough that you live in the up-and-coming Craft Brew Capital of the World, you've decided that you want to brew your own!  Good for you.  Everyone needs a hobby, and a hobby that requires you to drink is even better!  Where to begin? Portage Library.

Last year, "Home Brew 101" was such a success, that they're bringing it back... and expanding the program!  In "Home Brew 102," local experienced home brewers will show you what materials and ingredients you need, answer questions, and walk you through making tasty elixirs in your own kitchen. Space is limited, so register soon!

The three programs in the series are:

  • Brew Beer: June 20 at 1 p.m.
  • Create Kombucha: July 11 @ 1 p.m. with Kalamazoo Kombucha Queen, Eva Lane;
  • Wine Crafting: Aug 22 @ 1 p.m., taught by Kalamazoo's Tempo Vino
