Lightning Strikes Again

I've had the worst luck with lightning and electronic equipment over the last 3 years.  To Date I have lost 3 DVR's, An HDTV, Blu-Ray Player also a satellite radio, stereo system and modem due to lightning. I've also had to have people come out to fix the satellite issues and internet problems.  Either I am very unlucky or I just have a satellite dish that attracts lightning.  I do have surge protectors so no clue why this happens every year.  May have to seriously consider giving up my satellite.
