If you had a goal to do more volunteering in 2017 here is an opportunity to take advantage of as the Michigan Department of Natural Resources announced volunteer stewardship workdays for January.

According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, volunteers are needed to help cut invasive non native shrubs and plants in state parks and recreation areas in Southern Michigan. The winter is a great time to find these green pests and take them out.
