MDOT To Add Green Lights To Most Plows This Winter

We have yet to see any significant snow but you know it will be here soon.   As the snow returns we will see plows on the roads.   Something new to most trucks this season will be green lights.

According to Michigan Department of Transportation,  green light beacons will be added to most plows  along with the already existing amber lights.

The green lights will add to the visibility of the plows during winter conditions.

So as you are out in the winter conditions this upcoming season be on the lookout for the green lights.
