Michigan Department of Natural Resources invites riders out to enjoy the first free ORV Weekend of the Year, June 11-12.  

According to the release from the DNR, that Weekend Michigan residents and nonresidents can legally ride designated routes and trails without an ORV license or permit.

Michigan's trail system covers 3,800 miles through out the state.  The free weekend will also cover the use of Michigan's five scramble areas, including St. Helen’s Motorsport Area, Black Lake Scramble Area, Silver Lake State Park, Bull Gap and The Mounds.

During Free ORV Weekends, all ORV rules and laws still apply.

Don't forget there will be another Free Weekend coming up August 20-21.
