It's almost that time of year, again.  The leaves will soon be turning, frost will cover the ground in the early morning hours, and haunted houses and scary thrills await you.

Check out Michigan Fear Camp, a first-of-its-kind experience that will drop participants off in the middle of the woods to survive a real-life horror movie. The event will begin with participants meeting at Exit 13, 6069 N. Saginaw St. in Mt. Morris, on Saturday, Sept. 12. Once there, they will be shuttled to Camp Hatchet, a 40-acre patch of woods at an undisclosed location. Campers will be divided into three groups: those who frighten easily, those who want to be scared and the die-hards who want a more extreme experience.
