It's almost a foregone conclusion that, come November, recreational marijuana will be legal.  So all that's left to do is regulate all of the aspects; one of which is how much can an individual and/or household possess.

According to our friends at mLive.com, Michigan will be one of the more generous states in terms of how much we can be holding.  What's being proposed is that people 21 and over could carry up to 2.5 ounces on them, have a total of 10 ounces at home and keep 12 plants.  For those who can't comprehend what 2.5 ounces of pot is, the experts are saying to think of that like a carton of cigarettes which has 200 cigarettes.  And, depending how you roll'em, 2.5 ounces of weed will produce about 250 joints.

Now, to put all that into perspective with other states, many of them are or will be putting a personal possession limit at 1oz and then vary in terms of the other facets like plants.  Check out other comparisons and details by clicking HERE.
