The long three day weekend will see the opening of Michigan's Adventure, Michigan's largest amusement park just north of Muskegon.

According to the story from M-Live,  the park is set to open on  Friday, May 25th for the 2018 season. The water park will open on Saturday, May 26th.

This season will mark the 14th season of "Tribute to the Armed Forces".   As it is Memorial Day Weekend,  the park will offer free admission to active and retired military on Sunday and Monday (May 27th and 28th).

The park will also offer discounted tickets for those veterans families.

Michigan's Adventure is located just north of Muskegon off of US-31 on 1198 Riley-Thompson Road.

For those that have never made the journey, Michigan's Adventure features many great rides and attractions including, "Shivering Timbers", "Corkscrew" and "Thunderhawk".

This year the park will once again feature their popular coaster camp out which allows guest to camp out in the park for a night.  This year the coaster camp out is scheduled for June 29th.
