As more and more accidents and deaths result from drivers not moving over when emergency vehicles are on seen along our highways, the Michigan State Police are making an even greater effort to enforce the "Move Over" law.  Even for me it took recent tragedies to make a greater effort to not only move over for emergency vehicles but also any vehicle that's stopped along side the road.

Now through Saturday our boys in blue will be "hyper sensitive" to those that don't change lanes for fire trucks, police cars, ambulances, road service trucks and other service vehicles.  Should you choose not to comply, you're looking at $150 fine.  And while we're on the subject of moving over, HOW ABOUT ONLY USING THE LEFT LANE TO PASS!!!  Sorry, had to get that off my chest.  I'm working on getting our friends at the State Police to help the rest of us out with our road rage on that subject.  Drive safe.
