Meet Benedick; soldier, blow-hard, bachelor. Meet Beatrice; clever, hot-headed, bachelorette. Their hatred for each other is palpable. While wedding planning is in full swing for Beatrice's cousin, Hero, and her young betrothed, Claudio, a well placed rumor and a bit of hearsay may just sway Benedick's heart in Beatrice's favor... of course, another set of life-ruining lies may cause the impending wedding to be called off, and young Hero's reputation destroyed.

Directed by Curt L. Tofteland, who's experience includes 19 years as Producing Artistic Director of Kentucky Shakespeare, and featuring a cast of well-known Kalamazoo favorites, you aren't going to want to miss this timeless romantic comedy.

The Civic Theatre's Much Ado About Nothing opens this weekend, and runs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through October 22nd at The Parish Theatre.  Get your tickets here, or call 343-1313.
