March 9th, 1987 was the release of one of the iconic albums of the 1980's  U2's, "The Joshua Tree".   Great songs through out the album but there is one that is my favorite.

"Bullet The Blue Sky" for some reason has stuck with me ever since I first heard it.   I don't remember the exact time I heard it.   It could of been on radio or on MTV, but I know it was the live version of the song that is on "Rattle & Hum".

I eventually heard the album version and instantly loved the intro and Bono's overall performance on it.

I was disappointed that they didn't play the song in 2011 when my wife and I saw them in East Lansing.  The show turned out to be one of my all time favorites and if I had one let down from that show it was that they didn't play that song.  Still to this day one of my favorites from the band.

'Bullet The Blue Sky" my favorite from 'The Joshua Tree" on it's 30th Anniversary.   Do you have a favorite from "The Joshua Tree"?
