Nate Mendel of The Foo Fighters Has A New Project

The Foo Fighters are riding high with "Sonic Highways", but their members also keep busy with various side projects.  Dave Grohl has his many side projects but there is also Taylor Hawkins who has his band, The Birds of Satan.  Guitarist Chris Shiflett has his own Country Band, The Dead Peasants. Bassist for the Foo Fighters, Nate Mendel now has his own, Lieutenant. I am always curious to listen to popular bands who's members do side projects.  It gives the listener an idea of what their other music interest are.  I would have never guessed that Chris Shiflett is a big country fan.  Nate Mendel's, Lieutenant is releasing their debut album in March.  It's called, "If I Kill This Thing We're All Going to Eat For A Week".  A bit different from the music of The Foo Fighters. Check out a track from the album below.
