A few weeks ago the Northern Lights were visible through out the state.  Once again tonight the lights will be visible thorough out Michigan.

According to M-Live,  the northern lights can be seen through out Michigan. The farther north you are there will be a  better chance for you to see the lights directly overhead.

The only problem could be cloud cover in the southern part of the lower peninsula and western part of the Upper Peninsula.

It is suggested if you want to see the lights find a dark place with a clear vision of the north and hope the cloud cover is minimal.   It is also best to see them overnight.

It looks like your best chance in our area to see the lights will be out toward the lake shore in either Van Buren or Berrien County.  You may also be able to see them in the northwest part of Cass County.
