Nothing Like A World Series Game 7

If you're like me, and you have my sympathies, your interest in this year's World Series is casual at best.  After all, the Tigers got booted early and we have football season.

But there is something magical about a game 7; especially a game 7 in the World Series.  Sure, many would argue that a Stanley Cup game 7 is just as or more exciting.  And let's not even bring an NBA Finals game 7 into the discussion.

I think a World Series game 7 is the most special of all because of the situational nature of baseball.  It's pitcher vs hitter for 9 innings or more.  One pitch.  One hit.  One great catch.  Or one error could end it all.

I will certainly be watching tonight and hoping for a walk-off Royals win.
