One Of The Hidden Vacation Gems In Michigan

This year our vacation goals are to make worthy road trips to some of the coolest places in Michigan.  We've been to South Haven and other places along the shore.  For that matter, we've been to most of the "obvious" spots.  So we decided to do some research and find some of those destinations that most people don't even know about.

One of those places is the Porcupine Mountains.  Wait, Michigan has mountains?  Located on Lake Superior in the Western part of the U.P. It's like you're in another world. There's Lake Of The Clouds and Shining Cloud Falls.  Who knew this place even existed?  This may very well be the coolest destination in Michigan and maybe the Midwest!  We can't wait to go.
