"Following the promoter’s failure to meet their obligations, making MANOWAR's performance at Royal Oak Theatre on February 7, 2014 impossible, the band's performance is officially canceled." - Manowar's Facebook page.

Dear Manowar,

Who the hell do you think you are?  I made plans to see you tonight at the Royal Oak Music Theater, and woke up this morning to find out that because the venue "failed to fulfill their contractual obligations," you will not be playing.  Well, screw you!  You claim to love your fans, but clearly you don't give a rat's ass about your fans, because if you did, you would have made arrangements to play tonight's show, or reschedule so the venue could correct any issues they had.

Plus, your tickets were going for $100!  In today's economy, who has $100 laying around to see Manowar?  I'll bet money that if you were charging $35 a ticket, the show wouldn't have been cancelled, and you would have played to a packed house.  Plus, I was working with the venue to give away tickets to the show, but your management wouldn't budge on promotional tickets.  I was going to promote your show but you're too cheap to give away promo tickets!  No wonder the show was cancelled...

I'm not going to stop listening to your music because of this act, but I will tell you this, any respect I had for you is now gone.  I invite any member of Manowar to contact me at ramone@townsquaremedia.com.  You can use this opportunity to apologize to your fans and explain why you bailed on them.

In short, other bands play, Manowar bails.

Sincerely,

Ramone, one pissed off fan.
