Oshtemo Is One Of The Deadliest Places In U.S. To Drive In Winter

Ya know, it's feast or famine with Michigan.  We just found out that Michigan has the best drivers in the country!  We also have the highest insurance rates.  Michigan was also rated recently to be near or at the bottom in best places to live and yet we've also been rated as one of the best places to move to.  What the hell???

Now comes a study by a finance company Value Penguin Inc. I saw on wwmt.com, which lists Michigan as the deadliest state in the country for winter driving!  The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found 2,718 winter traffic deaths between 2013 to 2017 and 282 were in Michigan which was 90 more than the next most in Pennsylvania.  And get this!  Detroit has the most in Michigan but Oshtemo here in Kalamazoo County comes in as the second deadliest!!!  I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around that!  Check out the rest of the stats & story by clicking HERE.
