Overnight And Early Morning Storms Downed Trees And Lines Across Southwest Michigan

Storms and high winds led to areas of damage on Wednesday morning. Some located right here in the Kalamazoo Area. There have been no reports of widespread power outages in the Kalamazoo area however, there are several areas with trees across roads and resting on power lines. Pictured is Mt Olivet on the border between Kalamazoo and Parchment.

If you do come across a downed power line, stay away and report it to the Consumers Energy Outage Center right away.
