One of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's most celebrated shows, The Phantom of the Opera, is coming to Miller Auditorium on the campus of Western Michigan University. With newly reinvented staging and scenic design by Cameron Mackintosh, this production promises to breathe new life in to this much beloved classic. The Philadelphia Inquirer has called this staging, quote, "Powerful, gorgeous... and better than ever."

Based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de L’Opéra by Gaston Leroux, The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a mysterious masked figure who takes up residence in the catacombs of the Paris Opera House. He wreaks havoc to all those who dare enter, that is, until he falls in love with Christine, a beautiful, young soprano. With memorable songs like "The Music of the Night" and "The Point of No Return," you'll fall in love with The Phantom of the Opera all over again.

Tickets are still available for The Phantom of the Opera for evening and matinee performances February 6th through the 17th. Tickets start at just $38 and can be purchased online here, or by calling the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office at 269-387-2300.
