This month the Rocker is giving you the chance to win a trip to see a MLB game of your choice in May.   Through out this month, I will give you suggestions on some great ball parks for you to visit if you win the trip.

One ball park that I recently had the chance to visit is one of the must see parks in the game.    Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland.

It is one of those parks that has a little bit of everything for the baseball fan.  It is not too old and it is not brand new.  It opened in 1992 and it feels nostalgic without being like an old stadium.

One thing I enjoyed is when you walk in the park you see the history of the Orioles.  They have statues of their legendary players numbers near the front of the stadium.

Players like Cal Ripken, Brooks Robinson and Frank Robinson. There is also a museum, just near the entrance, that features Baltimore sports history.

My wife and I didn't get a chance to try any of the food vendors.  We ate a big meal at Dempsey's Brew Pub, a restaurant that is inside the warehouse just off the right field section of the park.  I tried a flight of their beer it wasn't too bad.

Another plus for the ball park, is that it is only a few blocks from the Inner Harbor.   Baltimore is a great place to see a game.  If you win  you pick the trip, you can't go wrong with going to Camden Yards for a game.
