This month the Rocker is giving you a chance to choose a trip to see a MLB game of your choice in May.   Once again I give you a possible destination if you score the trip.  Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

Other than Comerica Park in Detroit, this is the ball park I have personally visited the most.  I have been to 3 games in Kansas City.   The first thing you notice at the park is the scoreboard and the fountain in center field.

Out of the three times I've been to Kansas City, I have sat in the right field area just underneath the Rivals Sports Bar.   This is another stadium where I think you can't go wrong with any seat.   The only downside where I was sitting is the sun shines on you early in the game.

It can also be really hot in KC, which if you sit in the outfield you sometimes can get mist from the fountain.

I never got the chance to check it out but another highlight of the stadium is the Royals Hall of Fame, which is in left field.   They also have statues from legends like George Brett, Frank White also former manager Dick Howser and former owner Ewing Kauffman.

There is plenty of good food located in the stadium.  I haven't been to a game here since 2009, and they did have some renovations so I assume they may have some new places in the stadium.

I remember they had great hot dogs and also a cool local area ice cream place behind the scoreboard in center field.

Kauffman Stadium is one of the older stadiums out there but it has been modernized to make it one of the more cool places to see a game.   If you are looking for a place to see a game in a great city  Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City is a good place to go.
