According to officials with Tris Pharma, Inc., they are voluntarily recalling three lots of infant ibuprofen due to a "potentially higher concentration of ibuprofen." These medicines listed as a pain reliever and fever reducer were packed in bottles marked .5oz for Infants' Ibuprofen Concentrated Oral Suspension sold at Walmart, CVS, and Family Dollar. According to an article, affects of ibuprofen overdose include nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain, diarrhea, tinnitus, headache, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

Although they have not received any reports of product contamination or overdose, Tris Pharma is being proactive with this recall. Concerned customers should call Tris Pharma at 732-940-0358 (8am to 5pm Pacific Time), with any questions or concerns.
