Chris Haner and Abe Sava from Greenlight Music stopped in this morning to give us the lowdown on National Record Store Day this Saturday.  Many have never been in a 'record store' only to an online site. Some of my best musical memories were made at 'One Sweet Dream' the best record (head) shop in Kenosha, WI. back in the 70s.

When you walked in you were hit with the smell of cheap incense, a record was playing loud and your sight sense was overloaded with rows & rows of records, posters and paraphernalia.  It was more than a 'shop'.  It was a place to hang out and enjoy music and camaraderie.  Click HERE for more information on what Greenlight Music will be doing for the celebration.

People have asked me for years what my top 5 records are...

1. Abbey Road- The Beatles

2. Katy Lied- Steely Dan

3. Waiting for Columbus- Little Feat

4. Sleep Walker- The Kinks

5. Ice Pickin'- Albert Collins
