Red Wings Avalanche Alumni Game To Be Played Tomorrow Night

The Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche will play an outdoor game Saturday Night at Coors Field in Denver.  It's an important game for both teams, but I am also looking forward to the Alumni Game which will be Tomorrow Night.

The Alumni game will feature many of the stars of the past who were involved in one of the biggest rivalries in the past twenty years.   There was the big hit from Claude Lemieux on Kris Draper during the playoffs in 1996 that started the rivalry.  There was also the major brawl that happened a year after that hit.

I doubt we will see anything close to that action in this one.  Many of the teams greats will be apart of this game, here is the latest list of players who have committed to the game.

It will be great to see many of those great players on the ice one more time.

The game is Friday Night at 7 and will be televised by Fox Sports Detroit and The NHL Network.  Will you be watching?
