The Detroit Red Wings return home to the Joe Louis Arena for the first time since the passing of owner Mike Ilitch.  The team will salute their longtime owner during the game tonight.

According to M-Live, the team will have a special Mr. I patch which will be worn on the left shoulder of their jersey.

Mr. I was also painted onto the ice in front of the teams bench at Joe Louis Arena.

It should be a very emotional game for the team as today also saw the entire team attend a private visitation at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.

The Wings host the St. Louis Blues Tonight at 8 p.m on NBC Sports Net.
