Michigan Department of Natural Resources announced by a press release that they will continue the camper storage program at select Michigan State Parks and Recreation Areas This Year.

Campers have the option to reduce costs and temporary store their campers, trailers, motor homes or boats on trailers at participating state parks or recreation areas in between their visits to that park.

The program is available on a first come, first serve basis.  It is determined by contacting the state park.

The Program is free.  You must show proof of campground use at any Michigan state park or recreation area within the seven days prior to the beginning of the storage period. The maximum allowable storage period is 15 days.
