Those Sears Stores Still Open Are Safe – For Now

I was saddened last year to hear that Sears would be filing for bankruptcy and going out of business.  This iconic store holds so many of my memories like the time I was 7 or 8 years old and I was there with my mom and older sister.  Mom sternly looked at me and said don't wander off to go look at the guitars.  You see it was the late 60s/ early 70s and Sears carried guitars.  Of course I wandered over and when I came back she and my sister were gone.  Yup!  She left me there in the catalog department!  Luckily my sister cried about leaving me so they came back.  My mom had employees looking out for me as it turned out.  Where was C.P.S. when you needed them.

Anyway, good news for lovers of Sears like myself.  According to CNN Business, attorneys for Sears reached an agreement with a hedge fund after a series of last-minute negotiations and saved the department store giant from liquidation... For now!!!  Get more details by clicking HERE.
