Ryan Jay Reviews "Focus" and "The Lazarus Effect"

Every Friday, Ryan Jay Reviews joins The Rocker Morning Show to tell us what movies are worth seeing, and what are worth skipping. This morning, Ryan reviewed:

Focus:
- The characters are unlikable. You never root for them.
- Some of the gambling scenes were really well done, there were some decent twists.
- Overall, though, the movie falls really flat.

The Lazarus Effect:
- I liked this movie – better than the average horror film
- Smart; the script is clever.
- I liked the performances
- I recommend it in the theater

Leviathan:
- Russian, with subtitles
- Serious, slow moving movie you can really sink your teeth in to
- If you like foreign language films, it’s a good one
