Southwest Michigan Fair Season Officially Underway

A big part of Summertime in Southwest Michigan is County Fairs.  This week kicks off the fair season in Southwest Michigan with fairs in Van Buren and Barry Counties.

According to M-Live,  July 18th is the start of the Van Buren Youth Fair in Van Buren County, as well as the beginning of the Barry County Fair in Hastings.

The Van Buren Youth Fair is July 18th until July 23rd in Hartford.   It will feature youth livestock competition, youth talent show, demolition derby and a performance by musician Caroline Kole.    Get more details on admission and events at vanburenyouthfair.com.

The Barry County Fair will also be July 18th until July 23rd in Hastings.   Their events include: a dodgeball tournament, events held by Unique Motor Sports and the competitive sports league Michigan Truck & Tractor Pullers.  For more details on admission and events visit, barryexpocenter.com.
