Centreville Native Verne Troyer Hospitalized For Poisoning

Austin Powers star and Centreville, Michigan native Verne Troyer was hospitalized Monday Night and the details are both strange and sad.

According to TMZ,

Law enforcement sources tell us a friend of Verne's made the call around 7:30 PM, and described him as being extremely upset, drunk and suicidal. We're told cops and fire department paramedics responded, and Verne was transported to a hospital for possible alcohol poisoning.

TheBlast.com reports that Troyer is being held on a 72 involuntary psychiatric hold.

Before Verne Troyer was a famous actor he graduated from Centreville High School right here in West Michigan. We all wish him and his family the best.
