After swimmers were advised to not swim at Woods Lake Park due to high levels of e. coli bacteria, the advisory has been lifted and it is now safe to swim at the park. 

According to the story from M-Live, an advisory for the park was announced yesterday(Tuesday) after the water was tested on Monday.

The advisory was issued but after more testing of the water the levels were lower and the advisory has been lifted.

Woods Lake Park is located at 2900 Oakland Drive in Kalamazoo.    The park features a beach for swimming along with areas for fishing. There is also a playground and picnic areas.
