#TBT Johnny Cash ‘Rusty Cage’

Johnny Cash has been a long time favorite of mine.  He is one of those artist that crossed many genres.

On what would of been his 83rd birthday today, I posted a great throwback video clip of one of Johnny's great cover songs, "Rusty Cage" originally done by Soundgarden.

The cover,  was featured on one of Johnny's great later albums, "Unchained".  It was the second album  he recorded with Rick Rubin.  Released in 1996, This album featured Johnny backed by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Flea, Mick Fleetwood and Lindsey Buckingham also guest on the album.
