Earlier this morning, Mike McKelly and I were off the air chatting about his upcoming remote at Wraps & Signs. I made the remark that they will wrap anything they can hold down, in fact, I was thinking about installing new sliding closet doors (4 in all) in my bedroom, and was interested in getting a quote to wrap the doors. Mike was confused. I'm sure he was thinking about the Rocker Truck and was wondering why in the world I would want flames and a Flying V guitar on my closet doors.

"No, no, no.  Nothing like that," I assured him. "Are you familiar with the art nouveau artist Mucha?"

Silence.

Then hysterical laughter.

I broke McKelly. "That just might be the most obscure, pretentious thing you've ever said," he coughed through tears.

I wasn't trying to be pretentious at all!  I was sure that he had seen Mucha's work before, but didn't know the artist, or wasn't familiar with the style.  He's not some underground figure; I mean you can't look up "art nouveau" without his art being the first examples you see. There's a museum in the Czech Republic dedicated to him.

He's hardly obscure.

So, getting back to my initial thought, I was interested in getting a quote from Wraps & Signs regarding either The Moon and the Stars or The Seasons on my closet doors.

Someone.  ANYONE. You've heard of Alphonse Mucha, right? You've AT LEAST seen the Job Rolling Paper advertisement...?  Bueller?
