The Greatest Trophy In Sports To Return To Kalamazoo

The greatest trophy in sports, The Stanley Cup will be returning to Kalamazoo in March as part of the game between the Kalamazoo Wings and Ft. Wayne Komets. 

According to a press release from the K-Wings, the cup will be at Wings Event Center for the game on Friday, March 9th.

The Stanley Cup will also be joined by the Kelly Cup, which is awarded to the ECHL champions.

Attendees of the game will have the chance to see both cups along with a chance to have a photo taken with both trophies.  Doors will open for the game at 6 p.m. to the general public.

The Stanley Cup  made an appearance a couple years ago here at the RKR studio.  The cup along with it's handler, Phil Pritchard brought the cup to the Townsquare Media building, where many of the staff had the chance to have a photo with the legendary trophy.  You can see photos of the Cup visit here.
