One of the things I like to point out to my kids when we're watching movies or TV set before the 1980s is the inaccuracies.  Whether it's the background, the clothing, the expressions used in the script, etc.

Although seemingly unimportant, I really get angry when the "high five" is used before the '80s.  I know for a fact nobody was doing the high five before then.  I think it might have been NBA players who started it, but I can't be sure.

Anyway, I just found a video that actually traces the origin of the "high five"...
