The Newest Cool Place To Eat [Photo Gallery]

We were honored and privileged to be a part of the grand opening of The Fire Hub at Kendall and Dickman in Battle Creek.  The converted #4 Fire Station has retained it's historic integrity and also has state of the art restaurant facilities.  This is truly one of the coolest places to eat when you combine the space with Firekeepers' chefs and great food.

That's right.  If you haven't heard Firekeepers re-imagined the fire station in an effort to give back to the community.  As the press release told us, the fire Hub will blend various spokes of service including a full-service restaurant and artisan bakery, a well appointed food pantry operating as a branch of the Food Bank of South Central Michigan and large gardens nearby to grow food to support free fresh salad bars in Battle Creek Schools.
