The Perfect Rocker Mix Tape

Last night, while attending my other job's holiday party, my coworker's 8-year-old son, a newly declared rocker, asked me what the most popular song on The Rocker is.  Of course, I said Terrlet Wine.  That confused him.  So, I asked him if he would like me to make a mix CD of the greatest songs on The Rocker.  His eyes grew to baseball size, he smiled, and shyly said, "Yeah."

So, RKRmy... help me help an 8-year-old.  Lets educate the youth!  What are you FAVORITE songs on The Rocker?  What bands/songs should be included on a quintessential classic rock mix tape?  The Stones?  Yes?  David Bowie?  If a child you know had never heard rock n roll, how would you introduce him/her to it?
