The Stanley Cup Has Magic Powers

I have to admit that I was one of the few people that wasn't going absolutely crazy-go-nuts with the Stanley Cup in the studio.  But something happened when it was placed next to me on the counter.

Everyone knows I'm not a huge hockey fan but I am a huge sports fan and Lord Stanley's cup is steeped in history and tradition.  I think it was that notion of how important is is to the sport of hockey and how important is is to 'Sports' that made me see the cup in a different light.

I was literally overwhelmed at times with it being there and being so close.  It was a lot like getting your picture with a famous athlete.  And now I can say that I understand why everyone in the building this morning was so excited to see it and spend time with it.
