This Week In The Bluesmobile The Story Of Bert Berns

Join Elwood in The Bluesmobile this week as he welcomes Rock Critic Joel Selvin to talk about his book, Here Comes The Night, the story of Bert Berns, songwriter, producer, A&R Man for Atlantic Records.

He wrote "Here Comes The Night," a hit for both Van Morrison and Lulu, with guitar solos from Jimmy Page (who Berns brought in to play).  He also worked with Solomon Burke, Ray Charles, The Isley Brothers, and more.

Other classic Atlantic soul will be played from Aretha Franklin, Ruth Brown, Ben E. King, and The Blues Brothers.

New music from Saun and Starr wraps it up.
